The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency said it really is alarmed concerning the large amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration status sassa Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area every day. The services stage developed for intervention experiences a substantial influx of likely beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for your office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to help the servicing of all shoppers and maximize access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
